Going into this show like Kanan (blind)
I don’t remember the exact moment I learned there would be a Disney+ show focused on Ahsoka Tano. It was likely amid all of the announcements for the next wave of Star Wars. I loved Ahsoka as a character – obviously – and, as a major fan of Rebels, I was beyond excited for this.
But I never watched any of the trailers. I didn’t look up any information about Ahsoka beforehand, didn’t listen to fan theories or behind-the-scenes stories. I wanted to go into the show almost entirely blind.
(Really, I don’t watch trailers anymore for Marvel or Star Wars content. They’re just far too spoilery.)
So, that is how I watched the first and second episodes of Ahsoka. Something about watching Star Wars TV late at night in my bed just makes it feel so personal.
There will be spoilers for both the first and second episodes here, as well as spoilers for Rebels.
