You know what? I don’t actually have too much to say about this one. It was a fun watch with a surprisingly stacked cast, but I feel like I would’ve enjoyed it more if I’d seen it as a kid. I’ll bullet point my thoughts:
- Michael Keaton plays this character incredibly
- The set designs and one-off gags are out of this world
- For what feels “kid movie adjacent,” there are a shocking amount of dark jokes
- Oh look, young Winona Ryder!
- And young Winona Ryder ends up with four parents, amazing
- This movie feels not only iconic, but endlessly quotable
